Born and raised in Iowa, Lori Mitchell is an avid Hawkeye Fan.
After graduating high school Lori attended Iowa Methodist School of Nursing, she worked as a registered nurse for many years in different positions as she moved from National Park to National Park with her husband Jon who works for the National Park Service. In 1990 they permanently moved to Littleton and love living in Colorado. Lori is the mother of two beautiful girls. After having her girls, she made the decision to go back to school to obtain her accounting degree from the University of Phoenix and then her Masters in Finance at Colorado State University Global Campus. Lori worked for Colorado State University Global Campus for the last 8 years moving from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant and then to Executive Coordinator where she worked with the VP’s on budgeting and was the project manager for their new building. Lori says she is very organized and detail oriented. She loves accounting and looks forward to working with the team at HEB as the Controller.
Lori loves to garden, quilt, and doing DIY projects. She also has two grandchildren she loves spending time with going to the zoo, playground, and doing outdoor activities. Golf is one of her favorite activities and has played since she was in Jr. High. As a junior and senior in high school she was on the Iowa Girls State Champion golf team.
